FIBROMATOSIS

• Extra-abdominal desmoid tumor of the breast; rare​
• Tends to occur in close proximity to pectoral muscles​
• Associated with: ​
  • Gardner syndrome
  • Breast implants
  • Prior surgical trauma
• Tx: Wide local excision (locally aggressive)​
• Recurrence rates high (20-30%)​
