50 y/o F presents for diagnostic MRI to determine extent of disease. What is the internal enhancement pattern of the non-mass enhancement?

CLUMPED NON-MASS ENHANCEMENT

  • Cobblestone enhancement of varying shapes and sizes with occasional confluent areas
  • May look like grapes if in a focal area or beaded like a sting of pearls if in a line
  • Suspicious and warrants biopsy
  • Pathology often DCIS
