51 y/o F presents for diagnostic MRI to assess calcifications. What is the diagnosis?
EXTENSIVE FAT NECROSIS
- Isointense-hypointense T1 signal centrally on sequences – almost identical to fat
- Rim of the mass commonly enhances to varying degrees
- This is a case of lupus mastitis (publication below)
