51 y/o F presents for high-risk screening MRI. What finding is indicated?

INTRAMAMMARY LYMPH NODE (NORMAL)

  • Ovoid or reniform shape with circumscribed margins
  • Normal size <1cm
  • Hilar fat present
  • Usually adjacent to a vein
  • Typically T2 hyperintense on MRI
  • May show suspicious findings on kinetic curve assessment (washout)
