MRI Case 20

59 y/o F presents for diagnostic MRI to determine extent of disease. What is the distribution of the non-mass enhancement?

REGIONAL NON-MASS ENHANCEMENT

  • Enhancement that encompasses more than a single duct system
  • Occupies a large portion of breast tissue, at least a quadrant
  • Suspicious and warrants biopsy – worrisome for DCIS
