36 y/o peripartum F presents with left breast palpable areas of concern. What is the most likely diagnosis?
- Noncaseating, nonvasculitic inflammatory disease of unknown origin
- Association with Corynebacterium
- Affects young women within 6 years of pregnancy
- Painful, palpable mass; can have tracts to the skin surface
- US: Mass-like tubular hypoechoic structures
- Tx: Steroids (1st line); surgical excision considered if persistent or recurrent
