DIABETIC MASTOPATHY
- Primarily in insulin-dependent Type 1 diabetics (can be seen in Type 2)
- Large, painless, hard mass
- Form of lymphocytic mastitis and stromal fibrosis
- Diagnosed on core biopsy
- Self-limited; Surgery not recommended (increases recurrences)
